Lucy-Liu
Lucy Liu is an American actor, voice actress, director producer and singer. She is an attractive, talented actress who has helped many Asian actors to succeed in Hollywood. Following a string of early performances in popular shows she achieved fame after joining the cast in the series legal comedy Ally McBeal where she played the evil Ling Woo. The actress put her rapid popularity into big screen roles in films including Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. She then delivered a superb performance as Japanese criminal lord O'RenIshii in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Volume 1. Also, she portrayed leading roles in box office failures like Rise: Blood Hunter. In the following years, she started to voice prominent characters from animated films such like Kung Fu Panda and Tinker Bell. Mia Mason, in Cashmere Mafia and other small-screen characters did not achieve any popularity. Southland an critically acclaimed series of police dramas that involved Liu in multiple roles, helped her find her own identity. Liu is extremely cautious when choosing her roles so that she does not become isolated in an extremely in-demand industry. Although she's embraced her heritage, she hasn't permitted it to hinder her ability to express herself as an artist.
